How can the Calgary Stampede open its doors to a new, young and diverse audience while still retaining traditional rodeo supporters? In response to this question, I have created festival branding that celebrates Canada’s western culture with a modern twist.

Dynamic branding suggests energy and excitement across all elements associated with the festival: posters, brochure, website and merchandise.




Design System
The dominant colours used include red, a colour that is eye catching and associated with Canada, and saddle brown, which has connections to earth, nature and the western theme.
